Short ticket description
EarthScope have requested that their docs be made available under /shared/docs in their hubs on start up. I think we can use e.g. nbgitpuller to do this on a per-user basis -- any shared storage will encounter lock contention.
We will either need to pull into $HOME, or into a transient PV. The latter will require a full (shallow) clone each time, so won't benefit from previous pulls.
