Select card not working with select entities

I'm trying to get this working via two methods.

Method 1 - If I create a bubble card with the select card type and specify a select entity, the dropdown button does not show up in the bubble and there is no response when tapped. This is the "Cat Feeder" bubble in my screenshot.

If I do the same but use an input_select entity, it works perfectly. This is the "Great room" bubble in my screenshot.

Method 2 - If I create a button card type, with name/text button type, perform action > select for the tap action, my targets only show my input_select entities and none of my 30+ select entities.
