[Feature Request]: More items in search history

Problem Description

The search history contains a small number of items.

Proposed Solution

It would be nice if the maximum number of items were much larger.

I don't understand what you mean "the same as YT"?

I'm referring to the search box at the top of the app, it has the placeholder "Search / Go to URL". That box allows only a small history of items. Are we referring to the same thing?

YT has a web app and you have a native desktop app, you can do whatever you want... I'm just trying to understand. :-)

We are showing the same amount of search entries as YouTube does which is 14. If you search for 15 things 1 will get hidden until you delete one entry

That is not an argument for changing this. We are a YouTube frontend which means that we should look and feel recognizable to users coming from that platform to us

I finally understand what you meant, and there is sense to it.

I suggest though for you to consider that you've departed in various considerable ways from the youtube UI, so you should take that into account in cases similar to these. It's your decision though, and I respect that. Thanks for your reply, and thanks for this incredible app.

UPDATE: for future readers

I assumed that newer items replace older ones, but that isn't strictly true. If one deletes a newer one (there's a "remove" button next to each item), then an older item is shown in its place.

So the app does remember older items, it just doesn't show them by default.
