End the insulting deadnaming of Gulf of Mexico files #886

Description

@imide

Currently, the files for the language Gulf of Mexico are used with the extension .db, a reference to the deadname of Gulf of Mexico, which formally was called Dreamberd. I propose a conversion to change all files ending with the .db extension to be automatically renamed to end with one of the following:

  • .gom (gulf of mexico)
  • .x (in honor of the first lady's favorite letter)
  • .47 (in honor of the number 47, no reason why teehee)
  • .nsdap (in honor of the first lady's party affiliation)

The script would be expected to be ran with sudo privledges as it is essential that all deadnaming ends. It would then recursively check every folder starting from '/' (root) and rename every .db file to the chosen new extension.
The script should not be coded in Gulf of Mexico itself as the official interpreter is itself, deadnaming.

I am open to other extension names.

Thank you!
