The description area jumps the cursor back a few characters if you type faster than 1 character per second, relying on predictive text to type quickly.

For reference I was using the Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard but haven't had any issues with it on other apps or other areas of WHPH

Hi @Clakie! Thanks for the bug report - cursor jumping with predictive text is annoying.

This is likely an IME (Input Method Editor) compatibility issue with how the notes field handles text updates. SwiftKey and other predictive keyboards sometimes conflict with the app's text handling.

I'll investigate and fix the TextField state management to properly handle fast typing with predictive text. This should work smoothly with SwiftKey and other keyboards.

Hey @ahmet-cetinkaya so I actually just went to do a screen recording of the issue but for some reason I couldn't reproduce it today. Strange that it was only happening in that one text box the other day.
