I'm backing up the media directory, and it's quite large. To save space, I’d like to back up only the original media files and skip any automatically generated resized versions (e.g., thumbnails, screen-sized images, etc.).
Are resized images regenerated automatically from the originals if missing? If so, which subdirectories or file patterns can I safely exclude from the backup to avoid storing redundant data?
I could not get that information from https://manual.collectiveaccess.org/providence/user/setup/backups.html
Thanks!
