Support for Kotlin Multiplatform

### What would you like to be added?

It would be great to have drop in support for KMM.

This one seems like a no-brainer, since the goal is clearly to support multiple platforms.


### Why is this needed?

Integrating across multiple platforms is time consuming and error prone.
With Kotlin Multiplatform, you can do it with one library, which would save a tone of time and headache.
