Why cell addresses are not managed with a single string?

I have worked with this library for a week now and I can't stop thinking that cell addressing could be way more straightforward.
I'll give you an example: when you need to get the value of a cell you do ISheet.GetRow(int rowIndex).GetCell(int columnIndex). Why can't we do something like ISheet.GetCell(string cellAddress)?

Two methods compared

Current:

ISheet sheet = workbook.GetIndexAt(0);
ICell cell = sheet.GetRow(0).GetCell(0);

Proposed:

ISheet sheet = workbook.GetIndexAt(0);
ICell cell = sheet.GetCell("A1");

Am I missing something? I have searched for a similar topic in the Discussions section but couldn't find anything related.

This is not exactly what I meant, you still have to call the GetRow() and GetCell() methods. By the way, using CellReference() is pretty useful.

This is an open source project. You are welcomed to contribute code if you believe this interface is convenient. I agree that this can be helpful.

However, I've get used to work with 0-based index instead of Excel coordinate. As a developer, I suggest you can think in a developer way instead of VBA way. I understand a lot of Office experts are good at Excel coordinates.

I have been thinking about contributing to the project. I posted this question because I wanted to be sure there wasn't some intrinsic reason I wasn't aware of. I'll keep thinking about it for now.
