Hi, is v3 now the new stable version? I'm wondering because the first v3 stable release is v3.1.0 while the last pre-release was v3.0.0-alpha and it's a bit uncommon to bump the minor version as well for the first stable release.

Furthermore, the document still recommends v2.
Should we update the document?

The v2 series is the recommended version for new development.

Yes we need to update the docs . The reason I bumped up version from 3.0.0beta to 3.1.0 is because it has major changes under the hood, not necessarily user facing but significant nevertheless
