  • I think what might have made it more useful for me (whose employer would only pay for the conference and not the tutorials) would be if you could expand into 2 lecture theaters next year? The 15 minute sessions felt far too short to get to grips with the subject material.

  • I would also have loved for the poster sessions to have been followed up by break out sessions.

  • At the start (or whenever many people arrive, like the Friday morning) it's nice to take a few minutes to introduce all the organizers so we know who to ask about what. It took me quite a lot of asking around before I found out who was who.

  • Taking a long time to judge if you accept posters is a bit excessive. If people want to bring a poster, my advice is to just say yes (click accept, like all pull requests :). I cannot imagine why you would consider refusing some.

  • It's really nice when most people at a conference are in the same hotel. So I would definitely consider designating one particular hotel as the 'preferred hotel' and maybe even arrange a discount.

  • And last but not least, I was very sad to find out that I could not join the conference dinner. Especially considering I tried to reserve 3 hours after we got the e-mail! So please make sure there are enough places, you know the number of people months in advance so it should be possible.

  • Would you be able to mail to this list (or publish on the website) the links to the presentations which have been made available by the speakers?
